Johannesburg- It was just yesterday when we sang and chanted Asphelelanga with Vusi Nova, in memory of those we lost.
Little did we know that a pandemic was on its way to further take away loved ones from the face of the earth.
Yes, we can say Asphelelanga as our hearts bleed, our minds remember and never forget.
The launch of Asphelelanga Vol 1 which is a musical piece by various artists will be launched to keep alive the legacy of those who have left us.
Over 49 songs have been recorded we have chosen 8 singles to be released on the 1st February 2022.
The first volume #AsphelelangeVol1 will be released on the 4th March 2022.
This project pays tribute to the fallen heroes who inspired our lives with Music, such as Hugh Masekela, Ray Phiri, Nana Coyote, Sibongile Khumalo, Johnny Clegg, Brenda Fassie, Jabu Khanyile, Neyi Zimu, Anneline Malebo, Lebo Mathosa, Miriam Makeba just to name but a few.
As we enter a new phase and write a new chapter let us not forget the Music that shaped us.
