The man who allegedly attacked the world-renowned Ndebele artist, Esther Mahlangu has not been granted bail.
Simon Skosana appeared at the Siyabuswa Magistrate Court in Mpumalanga on Wednesday.
He allegedly broke into the 86-year-old’s home in March, tied her down and stole her possessions, including a firearm. She was also allegedly assaulted during the robbery.
His case has been postponed to the 26th of April.
Skosana is facing charges of robbery, assault, theft of a firearm and cash.
