Motorists travelling to various destinations for Easter holidays will sigh in relief knowing that fuel prices will be adjusted on Wednesday.
The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy has published the official fuel price adjustments for April, effective from Wednesday, which show that the 95 unleaded petrol will rise to R22.97 a litre while diesel will drop to about R20.89 a litre in Gauteng.
Petrol prices increased by R1.27 early in March, with diesel prices rising between 30 cents and 32 cents a litre.
Overall, prices will be heading south, except for 95 unleaded petrol in Gauteng, which will see a marginal increase of 2 cents per litre.
