Johannesburg – Pretoria-based fitness trainer Lawrence Masinge was killed in a hail of bullets during his live Zoom session while being watched by dozens of people on Wednesday night.
Masinge was busy doing routine exercises for his clients when a robber arrived from nowhere and shot him multiple times.
According to reports, the 40-year-old fitness trainer was shot dead during a live virtual workout class at around 7:20pm and his murder had sent shock waves across the country.
Lieutenant Colonel Mavela Masondo said the police have launched a manhunt for the suspects.
“The motive for the killing cannot be confirmed at this stage,” said Masondo.
