And contrary to claims that he bought a house for her two years ago, it has emerged in papers that the two were actually renting the property.
This because, she stated in the court papers, she did not want to be liable for payment of the rental fees of the property, which was leased on their behalf.
The actress, who has been unwell for a while, has also blamed her estranged husband for her poor health.
She said she was suffering from depression, hypertension and potentially life-threatening diabetes as a result of the deterioration of her marriage and the reasons that led to it faltering.
The popular actress also wants her estranged partner to return her furniture and home accessories including filing cabinets, a stove, fridge, couches and a braai stand.
She has agreed to waive her claim on some of her furniture items.
She said if her former partner has materially damaged or lost the furniture or fails to return it, he would be liable to compensate her for the reasonable market value of the assets or give her substitute assets of the same value.
“Should the parties be unable to agree on such value or suitable substitute asset, the parties shall jointly appoint an appraiser for this purpose, by agreement, and failing such agreement, an appraiser shall be nominated by the chairman of the South African Institute of Valuers, which nomination shall be binding on the parties,” read the court papers.
The actress declined to comment and said the divorce settlement doesn’t allow her to do so.
