Johannesburg – Legendary singer Tsepo Tshola of Holokile’s hit maker’s memorial service will be nothing but a true reflection of his well-lived life.
The star-studded memorial will be held tomorrow at Joburg Theatre.
Unfortunately for fans, there will be no walks in allowed during the memorial, however, they can access it via a live stream.
Given how influential Tsepo Tshola was to several generations of musicians, Sunday World, has learned that the lineup will include Veteran singer and jazz artist Sipho “Hotstix” Mabuse, Thandiswa Mazwai, Puthuma Tiso, The Soil, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Tsepo Tshola’s band, and the icon Chaiphus Semenya.
Fans must also brace themselves as it is believed that legendary singer Yvonne Chakaka who was trending lately might perform.
A celebration of life and times will be broadcasted live on SABC 1 and sister channel SABC news.
The funeral service will take place on the 30th of July.
Sunday World can also reveal that he will be granted a category 2 state funeral by the Lesotho government.
The Funeral Service will be held at Thaba Bosiu, Heroes Acre, Lesotho.
Tsepo Tshola succumbed to death due to related illness after he had buried his sister in Lesotho.
He will be remembered by his fans as The Village Pope.
