The case against convicted killer cop Rosemary Ndlovu and her former colleague Nomsa Mudau has been postponed to July 12.
The pair is facing charges of attempted murder and conspiracy to murder Mudau’s husband.
According to reports, Ndlovu offered hired hitmen R80 000 for the assassination and promised further payment on the successful collection of insurance claims.
In 2021, the infamous Ndlovu was sentenced to six concurrent life terms for the murders of six members of her family, including her sister and the father of her only living child at the time.
She was also sentenced to an additional 30 years.
Delivering his judgment over a year ago, judge Ramarumo Monama compared Ndlovu’s killing spree to the 1932 murder case of Daisy de Melker, saying South Africa had not seen anything similar in the last 89 years.
Recently, Showmax released a documentary detailing Ndlovu’s killing spree.
The four-part documentary includes footage from Ndlovu’s trial, where the media commentary was about how much she seemed to have been enjoying the attention.
