DJ Black Coffee received a hero’s welcome from government officials, family members and hundreds of fans on his return from the US after bagging a prestigious Grammy gong this week.
No doubt the world-revered DJ has put South African electronic music on the map, and most significantly he and his peers have attracted the attention of fans from all over the world.
To crown it all, in his acceptance speech, Black Coffee said the Grammy was an inspiration to budding township musicians to believe in themselves and that anything was possible. Halala Coffee!
