We doff our hat to the Nelson Mandela Foundation. The swift way they handled the sticky matter of their CEO Sello Hatang’s wayward ways is commendable.
The foundation fired its CEO, pronto, for what it describes as “bad and unbecoming behaviour”. Foundation chairperson Njabulo Ndebele said after considering the outcomes of the independent investigation, the organisation was left with no choice but to summarily dismiss Hatang, adding that his behaviour was unacceptable for someone in his position.
No one should be allowed to soil Madiba’s name.
