ANC secretary-general Fikile Mbalula has spoken. The blue light brigade is a problem – and gives the SA Police Service’s VIP protection unit a bad name.
A video doing the rounds shows members of the unit behaving like rogues, a far cry to what the constitution demands of them, which is to accord every person human dignity, treating them as they would want to be treated themselves.
Mbalula said:“Honestly, it’s the kind of thing that makes people march and take down a government.”
