The Brazilians, as Mamelodi Sundowns are affectionately known, engraved their names in the annals of history after they won the inaugural African Football League last week.
Against all odds, they managed to salvage a 2-0 victory in the second leg played at the Loftus Stadium via goals from Peter Shalulile and Aubrey Modiba.
For their efforts, they added a cool, sugar-coated cheque of R75-million to their already brimming coffers. Under coach Rulani Mokwena, the Brazilians have evolved into a mean machine that is set to conquer the African continent and to also continue dominating the PSL for many years to come.
With professionalism and hard work in place, which cannot be said about the so-called Soweto giants, the sky is indeed the limit.
