Proteas fast bowler Kagiso Rabada’s star is on the rise, after signing for MI Cape Town for the inaugural Cricket SA T20 League.
The Newlands-based franchise is administered by Indian Premier League outfit the Mumbai Indians. Each of the six franchises will get to pre-sign five players – three overseas, one South Africa international player, Rabada in this case, and one uncapped SA player.
Rabada, who played for the Punjab Kings this year, will be breaking his bond with his home team the Gauteng Lions.
