Moegoe President Cyril Ramaphosa
When you talk about people who cannot read the room, it has to be the national executive of this country, led by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
It is the blind leading the blind.
These comrades have seen it fit to set aside a whooping R700-million for a talk shop, the so-called National Dialogue.
What are they hoping to hear that they do not already know?
We all know about our terrifying crime problem; we know that unemployment is a national crisis; and we all know that poverty levels and inequality between the rich and the poor are shameful.
That R700m could be better spent on funding unemployed young people with cutting-edge business ideas, for instance.
