Andries Hendrik Booysen is our nincompoop of the month.
He was captured on video that went viral, physically barring a 13-year-old pupil entry into class because she had dreadlocks. Not only was the school unregistered and has since been shut down indefinitely by the Gauteng Department of Education, but he even had the guts to allegedly pull the girl by her hair.
He was arrested and currently is currently out on R2 000 bail. May he face the full might of the law and may he never be allowed to work with children again. With our high rate of violence against women and children, we do not need the likes of Booysen poisoning young minds.
