Moegoe of the week
Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Bongani Zungu is by far the moegoe for his dirty tackle that broke Bernard Parker’s shin. The horrific tackle is enough to end Parker’s career and the speedy forward will be very lucky to recover fully to continue playing again.
Zungu went in rough and hard, with studs up and connected with the shin of the TS Galaxy striker. Parker’s shin flapped like a bamboo as both the tibia and fibula bones snapped.
What’s even more sickening is how Zungu reacted – he threw his toys out of the cot and behaved as if he was the victim.
Such thuggery is not welcome in our football as this could spell the end for Parker’s soccer career.
