It is mind-boggling how the legal representative of four of the five accused in the Senzo Meyiwa trial, advocate Malesela Teffo, can be taken seriously as he continues making a mockery of the trial and our judicial system.
This week, Teffo sensationally announced his return to represent the accused. This comes after this moegoe dramatically withdrew from the case, claiming that his life was in danger.
Absurd as it might sound, as part of his demands he wants Police Minister Bheki Cele to step down and accuses the trial judge, Tshifiwa Maumela, of witchcraft with links to sangomas. Ludicrous indeed.
