Instead of knuckling down with the new Eskom board to solve the country’s ongoing and crippling power shortage crisis, ANC chairman and minister of mineral resources and energy Gwede Mantashe, is on a vote buying spree.
During the Western Cape leg of the ANC’s Letsema Campaign, Mantashe handed out R200 notes to ANC voters in the small town of Lamberts Bay in the Western Cape.
Patronising, to say the least.
It’s crunch time, while the country is plunged into darkness by the likes of Mantashe, the 2024 elections are beckoning, and the guilty are afraid.
