The liking of freebies and easy honours by eminent people of our country has made them the biggest joke once again.
This after it emerged this week that the Trinity International Bible University, which has been dishing out honorary PhDs and doctorates, is in fact not authorised to do so. And the bogus university has a long list of victims including Sello Maake kaNcube, Zwelinzima Vavi and Eastern Cape health spokesperson Sizwe Kupelo.
This should serve as a lesson to eminent people that one must work hard to earn your stripes. Go to school people, like everyone else. Short cuts won’t get you anywhere in life. Singaphela!
