Sport, Arts and Culture Minister Gayton McKenzie may be the most excited member in the government of national unity (GNU) executive, but this buffoon must cease from extending his foolish excitement to his offensive defending of apartheid symbols.Â
This ex-convict has no limits in his demagoguery and this week he was front and centre defending the existence of Die Stem in the country’s national anthem, despite the song having been among the key oppression symbols during the apartheid years.Â
The nincompoop probably thought he was defending Afrikaans, which is also the home language for coloured people, but he completely missed the point.Â
