Amapiano DJ Uncle Waffles DJ is putting the genre on world stage after joining the United Kingdom based radio station BBC Radio 1 as a host.
And excited Waffles said she would be sharing her knowledge on the genre that changed her life. The 22-year-old will be joining the likes of DJ Eliza Rose, Joseph Capriati, Ahadadream and Oliver Jones.
“So proud to announce that I will be joining BBC RADIO 1’s residency as a host where I will be shedding the spot light on the genre that changed my life; amapiano and some of its hottest songs to date. Every Thursday night 11pm UK time and midnight SA time,” she wrote.
