Tshegofatso Pule’s murder case trial resumes today

Johannesburg – The man who was arrested for the role he allegedly played in the murder of a young pregnant mother is expected to appear in the Johannesburg High court today.

28-year-old Tshegofatso Pule was brutally murdered in 2020 when she was 8 months pregnant.

Her body was found in a veld at Roodepoort, west of Johannesburg.


Muzikayise Malapane was convicted last year for the murder of the young mother.

Malapane has since entered into a plea agreement with the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA).

In the latest turn of events, Ntutuko Shoba has been accused as the alleged mastermind behind Pule’s murder.

Shoba was arrested last year after, the Malapane entered into a plea with the state to testify against Shoba.

Malapane, says he hopes that Ntutuko Shoba gets what he deserves for the role he played in the murder of Pule.

Malepane says he regrets what he did and wants to apologise to my family and the Pule family.


The Tshegofatso Pule foundation spokesperson, Bothlale Modisane said that it has been an emotional rollercoaster, huge turmoil.

“There is going to be so much happening but we will take it as it is. Seeing Muzikayise terrified me but I have to compose myself because he is the one who is going to assist us in getting the truth.”
