A woman has come out claiming to be late legendary artist Mbongeni Ngema's lover and has threatened to interdict government from organising his funeral if it does not recognise her as his customary wife.
Mbongeni Ngema's alleged customary wife says she collapsed at home due to the stress brought by his death and burial.

The funeral service of the late Mbongeni Isaac Ngema is currently taking place at the Durban ICC in KwaZulu-Natal. The acclaimed playwright and musician will receive a Special Provincial Official Funeral Category Two.

Ngema died in a car accident in Lusikisiki in Eastern Cape last week aged 66.
