Johannesburg- The interviews for the vacant Chief Justice (CJ) position commenced today since former CJ, Mogoeng Mogoeng left his office.
According to the Judiciary’s social media account, the current acting CJ, Raymond Zondo will be the last one to be interviewed, which got tongues wagging.
Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) deputy president, Floyd Shivambu has since labeled acting chief justice Raymond Zondo as being given an advantage as he will be interviewed last.
“Why is Zondo interviews on the last day? What criteria was used to schedule the dates?” asked Shivambu.
The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) interviews for the next Chief Justice of South Africa start this morning at 10h00. Justice M R W Madlanga will be the first candidate to be interviewed. #JSCinterviews #ocj_rsa pic.twitter.com/euQuOnYCQW

“He’ll copy and revise other interviewees’ presentations and responses. The JSC must not recommend him,” Shivambu added.
Why is Zondo interviews on the last day? What criteria was used to schedule the dates? Bring interviewed last gives him unfair advantage because he’ll copy and revise other interviewees’ presentations and responses. The JSC must not recommend him. https://t.co/rOuzu3QdoL

Your tweet is nonsensical too bcos if candidate 1 is last it will make sense bcos he has no nonsensecal judgment issued by them like molambo and zondo.

Zondo must be given the opportunity to hand over the State Capture report… Maybe Floyd is not in support of the report
