Johannesburg- Former Finance minister, Tito Mboweni, has bowed out as a public servant.
This comes after the former minister submitted his resignation as a member of parliament (MP) in the National Assembly today.
Mboweni handed his resignation to the Speaker of parliament Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula, and it will be effective from the 31st of January 2022.
The minister tweeted that the journey was long and sometimes lonely.
