The National Prosecuting Authority( NPA) says President Cyril Ramaphosa would not get any special treatment should a case be presented to it against him.
Ramaphosa is facing a criminal charges involving an undisclosed amount of money, allegedly stolen from his Limpopo farm.
The former director-general of the State Security Agency, Arthur Fraser opened a criminal case against President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier this month.
“As the NPA, we are constitutionally mandated to follow evidence… as and when the matter is presented to prosecutors, we will deal with it at that stage,” said NPA Spokesperson Mthunzi Mhaga.
It said [the NPA] it has never treated anyone special as everyone was equal before the law.
