Watch: Cyril Ramaphosa’s iPad is not missing, presidency says

Johannesburg – The South African President Cyril Ramaphosa before a media briefing on Tuesday, was seen talking about his ‘missing’ iPad.

Ramaphosa can be heard in the video saying, “Where is my iPad? I had it in my hand and now it’s gone.”

South Africans then took to social media thinking that the president had been robbed of his iPad device.

The hashtag ‘i-Pad’ since began to trend on Twitter.

The presidency then tweeted, “Thank you, South Africa. There was no question of the iPad being missing or stolen. The President was making a light-hearted point while waiting for the iPad to be brought to him – which it was before he began his remarks to media.”
