English singer, songwriter and guitarist George Ezra Barnett is coming to South Africa, Big Concerts announced on Monday morning.
The singer returns to South Africa eight years after his first visit to the country.
He will kick off his tour to the country on July 12 in Grand Arena at GrandWest in Cape Town before his performance at the SunBet Arena, Time Square in Pretoria on July 15.
Tickets to the shows go on sale on Friday morning and can be bought exclusively from Ticketmaster.
The Discovery Bank tickets pre-sale starts on Wednesday morning also from Ticketmaster and will run until Friday morning.
The top-chart singer rose to prominence with the release of hit single Budapest, which reached number one in several countries.
Prior to releasing the global hit, he had released two EPs, Did You Hear the Rain? and Cassy O. The musician has also toured widely around the world.
He recently premiered his acclaimed documentary End to End, documenting his unforgettable journey with close childhood friends.
The journey takes place across the UK, walking 1 200 miles in 95 days from Land’s End to John O’Groats.
In April last year the musician, who has worked with The National Trust to plant 20-million trees, was crowned YouTube Music’s sustainability partner for 2022.
