Former Real Housewives of Durban star and singer Londie London says she broke up with her businessman boyfriend Sphamandla Mabonga.
Mabonga was placed on police watch in hospital on Saturday morning after a shoot-out at the Tempo nightclub in Sandton.
Londie London, real name Londiwe Zulu, started dating Mabonga in July last year following a messy breakup with the father of her two children, Hlubi Nkosi.
On Saturday morning, while Mabonga was fighting for his life at the Mediclinic private hospital in Morningside, Londie London told Sunday World she broke up with him.
“Please don’t ask me anything about that guy. We broke up. Don’t ask me when.
“Call him for all your questions.”
The startling revelation came just a month after the pair was spotted painting the town red at Konka nightclub in Soweto.
The lovebirds were accused of foul behaviour at the club after they allegedly assaulted a female journalist.
Following his hospital admission early yesterday, Sunday World understands Mabonga has been placed under police guard for various matters including the assault of the journalist.
He was allegedly shot in the ribs after an altercation turned violent at Tempo leading to a shoot-out between him and another patron.
