A Bafana Bafana B-side proved no match for Angola as the South African makeshift team suffered an embarrassing 3-0 defeat to them in the final match of the Cosafa Cup on Sunday.
The game was played at Blomfontein’s Free State Stadium.
Laurido Dilson Maria Aurello, known as Depu, scored two goals in the 43rd and 47th minute, respectively, before Felicio Milson hammered the final nail in the Bafana coffin.
His goal came in 62nd minute.

Under the guidance of Vela Khumalo, Bafana earned their passage to this final match after beating Comoros 3 -1 in the semifinal match on Friday.
Bafana were hoping to overcome Angola to lift their 7th Southern African title, but it was not to be. Before reaching the semi-final match, Bafana were held to a 1-1 draw by Namibia.
As for Angola, who successfully defended their title, their road to this final match was easy sailing. They beat Lesotho 4 – 0 before winning 1 – 0 against Malawi to end top of Group B with 7 points.
Angola beat Madagascar 4 – 1 in the semi-final match to book themselves a place in the final against the host nation.
