Plans to stop boxers dying as paupers

Boxing SA (BSA), a body that governs boxing in the country, is considering to introduce drastic changes that will curb the scourge of professional boxers who, despite their stardom, die as paupers.Acting BSA CEO Eric Nsikayezwe Sithole explained to Sunday World this week that it will soon be compulsory for boxers to have a saving plan, medical aid and a funeral cover.
