Extra 15 000 tickets available for Chiefs and Sundowns big match

Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns fans will be pleased with the news that the initial 60 000 tickets for tonight’s Betway Premiership match involving the two giants at the FNB Stadium, has been increased by 15 000.

With the initial 60 000 tickets sold out, the decision was taken this morning (Wednesday) by the stakeholders (the PSL, Stadium Mangement SA and the two clubs) to increase the number of tickets by an extra 15 000, bringing the capacity to a controllable 75 000 for tonight’s match which will see the Glamour Boys welcoming the Brazilians in a league match at the iconic FNB Stadium at 7.30pm.

Reads the joint-media statement by the stakeholders: “Following the consideration and consultation process with the relevant stakeholders, we are pleased to release an additional 15 000 tickets sale.”

Fans are advised to arrive early at the stadium as the gates will be opened at 4.30pm, to avoid any delays.

“Please make sure you secure your tickets in advance as no tickets will be sold at the stadium,” reads the statement further.

There is high demand for the game with Chiefs on a roll, having won three matches in a row in the Betway Premiership while Sundowns are looking to overtake Amakhosi on the log table.
