Gunners gunning for full points against Palace

Arsenal will be back in action and wrap up match-day two of the English Premier League when they travel to Selhurst Park Stadium to battle it out against Crystal Palace
tomorrow night. Kick-off time is at 9pm.

Both sides opened their Premier League accounts on a positive note, with Arsenal edging past Nottingham Forest 2-1, while Palace also produced a narrow 1-0 win over newly promoted Sheffield United last week Saturday.

The Gunners, under Mikel Arteta, have been a fluid and exciting team to watch, with this season not expected to be any different, with the likes of Declan Rice and Kai Havertz expected to add some spark to the already prolific Arsenal attack.

Arteta is, however, already having injury worries after new Ajax recruit, Jurrien Timber, suffered a devastating knee injury during their opener against Nottingham and is expected to be out for weeks. Former Manchester City duo Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus are also still not part of the team after being deemed unfit.

Ahead of the fixture, the Spaniard said: “We must be more clinical in front of goals. When you play games of that type, it must finish three, four or five,” Arteta said.

“We didn’t do it and that’s why in the Premier League if you give something to the opponent, it’s always going to be nerve-ending, unfortunately.”

For Palace and coach Roy Hodgson, their build up to the match got a boost after exciting prospect Michael Olise committed his long-term future to the club. But Olise will not feature as he is currently nursing a hamstring injury.
