Embattled Kaizer Chiefs coach Molefi Ntseki is calling for calm from Amakhosi faithful ahead of their must-win DStv Premiership clash against AmaZulu.
The two sides cross swords at the FNB Stadium on Saturday evening.
Amakhosi have not had the start of their dreams so far this season. They have lost two of their last three league matches and are 14 points behind log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.
Addressing the media at Kaizer Chiefs Village in Naturena on Thursday, Ntseki admitted that the supporters and club hierarchy are not happy with the last string of results.
“He [Kaizer Motaung] is the most important person that we have at Chiefs at the moment,” Ntseki said.
“As the chairman of the club and having experienced success in so many years, the last three results have not put much of a smile on his face, the board and supporters.
“As the technical team and the entire squad, we are fully aware and working very hard to get things right, so that we can all be happy.
“So, in as much as I am getting the support from the club, this is a call for all of us to be calm, supportive and people to not be emotional like we did [against TS Galaxy].
“We will obviously turn things around, and we can’t run away from the situation. We must give a very brave face and a strong mentally.”
Ntseki and his troops will be desperate to walk away with maximum points against Usuthu. So far this season, AmaZulu have not scored nor conceded.
