Sophie Ndaba is back in the spotlight

Johannesburg – Actress Sophie Ndaba back in the spotlight, following a long hiatus from the public eye.

This time the former Generations star is not only back on our tv screens but is adding her voice on the radio.

The award-winning actress recently joined the newly revamped Radio BOP where she hosts a Saturday lifestyle show called #TheRadioBopLifestyleShow.

The show airs from 12 to 3 pm and covers business, beauty, and lifestyle topics.

Sophie is also a guest actress on Abakwazwide which recently launched.

She is also working on SABC 1’s Family Secrets, an associate producer.

She says she is slowly picking up.

“Slowly but surely I am picking up. Covid-19 has blocked my favourite part, which is planning fabulous events. Yes, we are planning more for the end of the year and more for next year. I have moved on to lifestyle events. Yes, I am still doing weddings but they are more bespoke. I will still be doing individual weddings for people who don’t have time to plan,” she said.

She added that she was now focusing more on events design more than events planning.

“I’ve never been part of mass-market anyway so yes I’ve got a few brides for the end of the year but I’m more focusing now on event design more than event planning so it’s like we’re more on the design of the event like turning a garage into heaven kind of thing. I have to evolve remember I am the queen of events I’ve been doing events for 20 something years so I’m evolving now,” Ndaba further said.

She adds that she is currently busy planning now coming up with another business.

“We are now doing trips including trips to Mauritius, Cape Town to Durban. We will do cruises picnics etc. I’m really excited. I’m really blessed and thankful for this opportunity to be able to rise again.”
