Johannesburg – After much speculation whether a woman gave birth to a whopping ten babies, the family of the mother, Gosiame Tsotseti, has confirmed that indeed the babies do exist.
The story was reported by the Pretoria news but soon it was revealed that government couldn’t find a record of the births at any of their hospitals.
In a statement, issued through the Department of Social Development, the family said they wish to confirm that on Monday 07 June 2021 at about 11am they received a call from the hospital informing them of the birth.
“We called back the number and got further confirmation from the mother Gosiame Sithole who was still in pain. She and the 10 bundles of joy are doing well and still in hospital,” reads the statement.
