Johannesburg – While the drama of former president Jacob Zuma’s arrest unfolded last night, South African actor, Pearl Thusi, had her fans engaged in a heated political debate on Twitter.
Thusi tweeted, “Is there anything out govt is doing right guys. There must be SOMETHING they’re doing properly because surely they’re not just spending state funds for fun.”

Some users then called the star out on some of her tweets about the ANC, as some claimed that she worked at ANC events in the past.

She then replied to a tweet of an image of her wearing an ANC t-shirt and said, “Notice what I did with my arms. That wasn’t an accident. That wasn’t an accident. I really needed that rent money. Hence I said actively promoting any party. But if I knew then what I know now… regrettably, I also did a DA gig that year.”
