This week, the Airports Company South Africa (Acsa) board appointed Lindani Mukhudwani as acting chief financial officer effective June 1.
As a result of her appointment, Mukhudwani will become an executive Acsa director. She is currently employed as Acsa’s group manager for
financial control.
Mukhudwani’s appointment follows the news that Siphamandla Mthethwa will leave the employ of Acsa as CFO on May 31.
African Bank makes two key appointments
African Bank has appointed Gcobisa Ntshona as chief people officer and Trisha Singh as company secretary.
Ntshona joined from LexisNexis, where she was a director for human resources, BEE and facilities. According to her LinkedIn profile, she has worked for Shell South Africa and Barclays Africa.
Ntshona has an MBA from the Henley Business School and an honours degree in the arts specialising in human resource management and industrial relations from Nelson Mandela University.
Singh is a qualified attorney who has previously worked for Absa and Mercantile Bank. She has an LLB and a bachelors degree in legal and political science from the University of Natal.
According to African Bank, Singh is a member of The Ethics Institute, The Institute of Directors in South Africa and The Institute of Chartered Secretaries.
Santam appoints executive head of strategy and investor relations
Santam appointed Gugu Mtetwa as its executive head of strategy and investor relations this year. Mtetwa is a chartered accountant and holds a master’s degree in finance from the University of London. She joined Santam from Allan Gray, where she worked for over three years, according to her Linkedin profile.
Boston Consulting SA appoints MD
Management consulting company Boston Consulting Group South Africa (BCG) promoted Warren Chetty to managing director and partner earlier this year, according to a BCG spokesperson.
Chetty has over 12 years of experience in management consulting and is a member of the firm’s financial institutions practice, serving leading banking and insurance clients and leading BCG’s transactions advisory in South Africa.
He focuses on strategy across banking and insurance topics and has served clients across the region, having lived in South Africa, Nigeria, East Africa, and the Middle East.
Before joining BCG in October 2020, Chetty worked for Bain & Company for almost 10 years.
He has a bachelor of business science degree specialising in actuarial science from the University of Cape Town.
