Macgyver “MacG” Mukwevho, a controversial podcaster, is in hot water after making offensive comments about TV host Minnie Dlamini.
In his most recent programme, the podcaster and his co-host Sol Phenduka talked about Dlamini’s past romantic relationships following her recent split from her partner, Dr Brian Monaisa.
“Why can’t she keep a man? Bro, I’m telling you, man, there’s got to be something wrong with her; maybe her coochie smells or something,” Mukwevho said.
“You know this happens, man; it happens, especially with the hot girls.”
Many people on social media platform X were offended by the comments, and they are now calling for the podcaster to be cancelled and his channel to be shut down.
In response to the podcaster’s comments, Monaisa has taken to social media to vent his ire, calling Phenduka and Mukwevho cowards who attack women.
“What cap is this? I think MacG and Sol Phenduka have really shown us all that they have a problem with successful women,” Monaisa wrote on Instagram.
“I stand for the integrity of women, bro. These hard-working, respectful people deserve more than you little weasels.”
Mukwevho hit with R13m lawsuit
Mukwevho has a history of controversy. In October 2024, he was served with a hefty R13-million lawsuit.
This came after he allegedly implied that Nkosazana Daughter, an amapiano chanteuse, had an “illicit affair” with Kgaogelo “Master KG” Moagi behind her boyfriend and musician Sir Trill’s back.
Mukwevho claimed in his podcast that Nkosazana Daughter’s child was fathered by the Jerusalem hitmaker, not Sir Trill, whose real name was Tumele Zwane.
Later, he expressed regret, saying that he had just seen a picture of Nkosazana Daughter’s child, who looked like Sir Trill, thanks to the singer’s brother.
“We were wrong; she [the child] looks just like Sir Trill. So, I want to apologise to Nkosazana Daughter,” said MacG in his apology.
“Now it seems like I am saying sorry because of the lawsuit thing, and it is not. But allegedly, Sir Trill is not supporting the kid, and it is from a credible source.”
