Former The Wife actor Linda Majola and The Queen actress Sibusisiwe Jili are the latest additions to SABC 1’s weekday soapie Uzalo.
Taking to social media Majola, who could not contain his excitement, shared the news of joining the soapie where he will be playing the role of Mzamo in the current season.
“I’m now part of an amazing team of storytellers. Thank you to the wonderful cast and crew of @uzalo_sabc1 for warmly welcoming me into the family. I can’t wait for each and every one of you to experience Mzamo and Nomkhosi on your screens,” he wrote.
Uzalo shared on their social media pages that Jili would play Nomkhosi Mhlongo who promises to bring all the heat to the soapie. Nomkhosi is the only child and daughter of Chief Sheperd who believes she is the next chief and is Nkunzi’s opponent.
