Ngcobo-Mzolo thrilled to host ‘The Mommy Club’ reunion

Television presenter, actress, and singer Ntombee Ngcobo-Mzolo is excited to host the reunion special of The Mommy Club season two.

The season-two finale of The Mommy Club featured a spiritual medium who helped the ladies connect with their loved ones in the spiritual realm.

The mommies also splashed each other with champagne and had confrontations when they put all their issues on the table.

A clear divide in the group

Like any other reality show, there is a clear divide in the group, with one side consisting of Her Majesty (Happy Simelane) and Mrs Mops (Mpumi Mophatlane) and, on the other, Nunurai (Nunurai Mudarikwa), Ratile Mabitsela, and Mrs [Jabulile] Sande.

Although Mrs Sande and Her Majesty had an altercation, they were recently seen on social media hanging out.

A newcomer mother of eight, Nozipho Ntshangase, has remained neutral.

Ngcobo-Mzolo, who is also a mommy and a fan of the show, said she was excited to be hosting the reunion and relates to the ladies on many levels.

“I know how fulfilling and challenging motherhood can be. My experience as a mother and a wife will come through at the reunion,” she said.

“As women, we wear so many hats and we juggle a lot, so I understand what the ladies are going through.”

Addressing the burning issues

Ngcobo-Mzolo has promised to take her duties seriously and will make sure to address all the burning issues that came up during the show.

“I am there to represent the fans and make sure that their voices are heard. It is not about me. I am going to remain neutral and make sure we get to the bottom of everything.

“I will try to understand each mom’s point of view to see how issues can be resolved so that they can move forward.

“I want other mommies who are watching the show to learn from what the cast is going through; there is something to learn from each lady,” she said.

The reunion of The Mommy Club S2 will air on Showmax on June 10.
