Actress and fashion icon Nomalanga Shozi, also known as The Flame, is the new addition to the cast of popular Showmax Original series Adulting.
Shozi will play the role of Botle Kompie, the lead character Bonga Tembe’s (played by Thembinkosi Mthembu) new love interest.
Shozi is set to bring an electrifying dynamic to the show’s second season.
Set in Johannesburg, Adulting is a 13-part 18SN drama and is the first Showmax Original from award-winning production house Tshedza Pictures.
The series explores the comedic and relatable challenges faced by four male varsity friends who navigate the complexities of life, work, and relationships, with their tight bond keeping them all together.
The second season is highly anticipated following the success of the debut season that captivated viewers with its witty narrative and relatable characters.
New layer of charisma and skill
As an accomplished actor with a proven track record in the entertainment industry, Shozi’s inclusion in the cast adds a new layer of charisma and skill to the ensemble, promising an even more engaging and entertaining viewing experience.

Another actress joining the cast is Samkelo Ndlovu, who had taken a break from the small screens.
The second season of Adulting will hit the screens early in December and is set to captivate audiences.
