Comedians Mpho “Popps” Modikoane and Kagiso Lediga will be starring in a new Netflix Comedy movie called Big Nunu’s Little Heist. The movie is about an ex-soldier turned delivery man that gets dragged into a local kingpin’s bumbling gang to pull off a daring heist in an infamous South African township.
Mpho Popps Modikoane will portray the role of Police Vilakazi and Lediga will portray that of Detective Khumalo.
Taking to social media on Monday, Mpho Popps Modikoane expressed his excitement about the film. He also shared the trailer is filled with comic scenes.
“I don’t want to give too much away but the casting and the storyline of this is completely insane, be prepared to laugh from start to finish,” he wrote.
Durban-based rapper and songwriter Duncan Sphamandla Mbambo also bagged his first acting gig in the comed. He shared that he was excited to showcase his other talent other than music.
Also starring in the movie are Jefferson Tshabalala, Tony Miyambo, Amahle Khumalo, Thulane Shange, Khanyisa Bunu, Thulani McKing, Tony Miyambo and Celeste Ntuli.
Big Nunu’s Little Heist will be available for streaming on July, 28 on Netflix.
