There is no point trying to be a peacemaker – Sorisha Naidoo

Two episodes of the Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) season-four reunion are scheduled to air this month, and Sorisha Naidoo has declared that she is tired of attempting to find harmony where none exists.

Following a dramatic season-four finale that split the ladies into two groups, MaBlerh will once again host the RHOD reunion.

There were accusations of witchcraft, infidelity, control, and alcoholism.

Sorisha, who has always been a peacemaker in the group, said there was no point in trying to be a peacemaker.

“I know what my boundaries are, especially when it comes to friendships. I know who my friends are, and I know the people I want to move forward with,” she said.

“And that takes the load off me because I don’t have to please everyone.”

I am not intimidated

Zama Ngcobo, who has been deemed a troublemaker, said she would not run away from anything that happened.

“I am not a coward. What I said on the show is how I feel. People think I won’t show up at the reunion because I am scared,” Ngcobo shared.

“I am not. I am going to go in there and speak my mind. I will not be intimidated by anyone.”

Another group member, Angel Ndlela, is looking forward to the reunion and is glad that she will have a chance to tell her side of the story while giving clarity where needed.

“Watching the show, I definitely learned a lot of things about myself. It was an amazing experience,” Ndlela said.

I hope my story helped other women

For Ameigh Thompson, the show has made her stronger and more resolute in her decisions-making process.

She said: “The journey has made me realise that I am the person I have always known I am. I have been through a lot as a person and a mom, and I hope that my story has helped other women who are in similar situations.

“There is light at the end of every tunnel.”

Nonku Williams clarified that the reason she has been doing this for so long is that she is aware of the responsibility of the task.

“Some people come here and want to be what they are not, and that is why it does not land. I will always be me, and that is my superpower,” Nonku said.

Accusations of witchcraft

JoJo Robinson, who joined the show in its second season, said the season has been her calmest one. “Season four has been very relaxed for me,” she explained.

“I had a very intense season three, but just like that, things changed. I’m glad I came back.”

Maria Valaskatzis’ game plan for the reunion is to speak the truth, and she will not tip-toe around anything or anyone, while Slee Ndlovu wants to get to the bottom of things that were said about her.

“My biggest thing for this reunion is the witchcraft accusations,” Ndlovu said.

“I need the people who accused me of that to tell me what they mean by that, because I am confused and offended.”

The RHOD season-four reunion will air on May 15 and 22 on Showmax.
