Former Miss SA Teen Katlego Ncala and her sister Masego are the new national
directors of Miss Planet International.
The former YoTV presenter and her sister Masego have been at the steering wheel of the Miss Teenager South Africa and Miss International South Africa pageant for over five years.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the pair said as the new directors, they aim to uplift aspiring young women in South Africa by providing them with a platform to showcase their talents while advocating for environmental awareness and conservation.
“We are honored to serve as National Directors for South Africa and be part of Miss Planet International’s mission to create positive change and empower young women,” Katlego said.
As national directors, Katlego and Masego will be responsible for organizing national pageants, selecting deserving delegates to represent South Africa at international events, and coordinating various philanthropic and environmental initiatives. Their wealth of experience and genuine passion for empowering young women make them an ideal duo for this esteemed role within the Miss Planet International organization.
Masego added: “Through this platform, we aim to promote diversity, environment-conscious living, and sustainable practices on a global scale.”
Marshall Johnson, CEO of Miss Planet International, expressed excitement about their appointment, saying: “We are thrilled to welcome Katlego and Masego Ncala to the Miss Planet International family. Their shared vision aligns perfectly with our organization’s values, and we are confident that they will contribute significantly to the continued growth and success of Miss Planet International South Africa.”
