Distraught Gigi Lamayne is finding it hard to process the death of her lover Liberty Mike Mhlanga, who is fondly known as YBK.
The news of Mhlanga’s death, who starred in a lifestyle TV show Vuzu Rich Kids, was confirmed on Tuesday.
The family, which is yet to reveal Mhlanga’s cause of death, sent out a statement urging the public to pray for the bereaved family.
In a picture of himself and Gigi Lamayne posted on Monday, Mhlanga declared his undying love for the rapper.
Expressing her sadness in a post on Instagram, the Ice Cream singer said she is still confused and heartbroken because the couple had big plans, including opening a church.
“Your last post … [sic] could you feel it somehow? We were grown and ready, why God? Let your will be done. Mina angisazi [I don’t know anymore],” she wrote.
“Forever you my babe. Forever us. We had our whole lives ahead of us. I’m in pain Liberty. We were so close to writing this story.”
