Media personality Minenhle ‘Minnie’ Dlamini has slammed controversial blogger Musa Khawula after accusing her of being in a relationship with Nkateko Mabaso.
Mabaso a former Multichoice executive who was fondly known as NK passed away last week, however, the cause of his death is not yet known.
Instrumental in growth
He held various roles and was instrumental in implementing and growing the mass and middle market propositions, with the flagship being the iconic Mzansi Magic.
He is survived by his wife Mathapelo, his son Tshimologo and his parents Xithlangoma Bob and Lizzy Mabaso.
Khawula claimed that Dlamini cheated on Quinton Jones with Mabaso, who was a CEO of M-Net before he was appointed as Netflix director of licensing and co-productions for Africa.
“Nkateko Mabaso had used his position/s to set Minnie Dlamini up with jobs at DSTV,” wrote Khawula.
Khawula slammed
Dlamini took to her social media on Sunday to slam Khawula for spreading misleading information, especially about someone that is deceased.
“I thought you said I cheated with Edwin Sodi? Now it’s Nkateko Mabaso? Which one is it? Who is next? Let it go bro damn. This is incredibly disrespectful to my friend’s family and his memory. People are mourning you have no shame,” wrote Dlamini.
In a statement, Nomsa Philiso, MultiChoice South Africa CEO for general entertainment, who replaced Mabaso in this position, said he left an indelible mark with his work on iconic productions such as Isibaya, The Queen and events such as the Channel O awards, DMVCAs.
He received several awards, including being named one of Destiny Magazine’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2016. He was named one of Mail and Guardian’s Top 200 Young South Africans in the media category in 2013.
