Uncle Waffles is breaking records abroad as she was the first amapiano DJ to perform on the main stage at Coachella in America.
Video’s of her at the international music festival trended on Twitter in South Africa on Saturday morning in after her performance on Friday evening.
Despite experiencing some technical difficulties during her 9pm prime-time slot, she mastered and delivered the same Uncle Waffles experience fans know and love her for.
The Coachella audience received her with open arms at the Sonora stage, right before headliner Bad Bunny hit the main stage to close off the night.
On Saturday she was the surprise act on the Do-Labs stage and the crowd loved her high-energy performance securing her a spot in the history books.
Waffles closed off the weekend with her killer set at the Coachella afterparty at Zenyara. She will return to Coachella this coming weekend for her fourth performance.
