Gospel singer Mdumiseni Nzimande, affectionately known by his stage name Dumi Mkokstad, and his wife Ziphozenkosi Nzimande are singing praises to God following the birth of their second child.
In a recent video shared by Dumi, Ziphozenkosi can be seen in the hospital about to give birth to a baby boy.
She shared that during the birth of their first baby, Dumi let her shine when he hugged the baby.
“Last time you stole my shine, that is why Nani [Lenani’zulu] is obsessed with you,” she said.
“Just let me do it first this time, obviously for a bit longer this time. You can have him for a couple of minutes and then bring him back.”
According to her social media bio, the couple has named the newborn Neyame.
In August, Ziphozenkosi took to her Instagram to write a heartwarming message for her bundle of joy. The message was accompanied by a verse from the Bible.
“To my precious baby boy: You are loved beyond understanding. I pray for you every moment I get and already know what a blessing you are to our family,” she wrote.
“I thank God for your life and know it is by His grace that we made it so far. In all your life always, trust in the Lord with all your heart and all your mind and your soul, and do not lean on your own understanding.”
Ziphozenkosi and Dumi tied the knot in a beautiful wedding in 2019. Before sealing it with a ring, the couple had been dating for eight months.
Dumi shared previously that he kept the relationship private to avoid public scrutiny. In December 2021, the lovebirds revealed that they were expecting their first child together.
Taking to social media at the time, Ziphozenkosi shared a picture of herself with her baby bump. She also thanked her husband and shared a picture of her sonar scan.
Dumi has another daughter, Likuwe, from his past relationship.
