More info:

Popularly known for his role as Phuthi on SABC 1’s Skeem Saam, Kgadi Masoma is the editor of Limpopo Tribune, actor, film and television director, and entrepreneur. Masoma's work includes directing the first feature film at the University of Limpopo and producing a documentary for the National Student Financial Aid Scheme. Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, he founded the Limpopo Tribune, a publication that continues to provide a platform for untold stories and opportunities for aspiring journalists. “I have always had dreams of working for big publications like Sunday World, but when those opportunities didn’t come, I started a platform that can produce even more top candidates for the journalism fraternity,” says Masoma. Masoma’s commitment to citizen journalism sets his publication apart, empowering ordinary individuals to contribute to meaningful discourse. He has mentored over 50 students and initiated the Arthur Masoma Charity Drive, donating sanitary towels to disadvantaged pupils in rural areas. “I am not just a businessman but also a philanthropist, and I assist young people through my charity drive campaign. I donate sanitary towels to needy students in deep rural areas while using my newspaper and magazine to tell untold stories and bring positivity while educating my readers.” As South Africa commemorates 30 years of democracy, Masoma calls for consistent support for storytelling and entrepreneurship, creating a generation that is rooted in its own narrative and seizes opportunities.
