Malefahlo Manoko, a well-known chef in Burgersfort, founded her business, Chef Nokzas Enterprise, in 2018 after earning her diploma in culinary arts and food preparation. Her goal in starting this successful enterprise was to bridge the gap within the hospitality industry in the village of Driekop, Burgersfort.
Beyond her culinary achievements, Manoko is celebrated as a community hero for her generosity and dedication to empowering young and aspiring entrepreneurs in and around Driekop. She actively involves stakeholders to provide entrepreneurial skills to the youth. “For us, the community is our top priority, ensuring that young people are equipped with education,” Manoko stated.
